Michelle Maclise

Raised in the Pacific Northwest and always immersed in art since she can remember, Michelle has worked professionally as a graphic designer, illustrator, textile designer, UI and UX designer. After working in the tech industry for over 20 years, Michelle missed working with her hands and began exploring various outlets including Gocco printing, printmaking, illustrating and finally weaving which became a daily obsession in learning how to perfect and expand her knowledge in the ancient craft. Today, she continues to learn how to elevate her skills in weaving on a frame loom and is also learning how to weave on a 4-harnass floor loom and a rug tufting gun.
